Hello precious GTH readers and friends. I want to apologize for few weeks of absence. I just got back from some beautiful meetings in Melbourne, Australia. I hope that today’s word will encourage you to run after God in a new way.
We all believe in the grace of God and the gift of the Holy Spirit in us. We read in the Bible about the many signs and wonders that were taking place through the apostles who were filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. But why don’t we see miracles like the apostles did? What do we need to do see the Book of Acts repeat?
There is a specific grace and anointing released only when two or more believers come together. The Bible is clear: “If two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.” (Mathew 18:19)

Secret behind the New Testament Church
In the New Testament, the Bible tells us that the early Christian Church was assembled together to wait for the promise of the Father: “and, being assembled together with them, he charged them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father, which, said he, ye heard from me” (Act 1: 4)
Jesus commanded His disciples to stay united, praying without ceasing, until they received the power of the Holy Spirit. “These all, with one accord, continued steadfastly in prayer, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.” (Acts 1:14)
Every day, the members of the early Christian church came together to pray and praise the Lord. Every day, we ought to spend time together, in unity, at the feet of Jesus. We, the Church, must change our priorities and assemble together, praying without ceasing.Pray for divine unity in your church.
May our churches become like the New Testament church of Jesus Christ!
Suddenly!
In order for the grace of God to manifest in our lives, and signs and wonders to take place, devotion to Jesus’ teaching and fellowship should take first place in the Body of Christ. “And suddenly, there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting.” (Acts 2:2)
The suddenly power didn’t come overnight. They sat in His presence continuously. After a period of consistency the Spirit of God came upon them suddenly!
God is looking for a devoted Church that is tirelessly available to receive His Word and His Grace. “And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles.” (Acts 2:42-43)
Consistent walk with God leads to seeing the consistent hand of the Lord in our lives. [tweet this] God is always available even when the Church is not always available. He is therefore waiting on us to draw near so He can draw near us.
The only requirement for Church to receive the Grace of God is believers’ availability! Is your church available? Are you available?
Set Apart
God is looking for a generation of people who will be set apart, seeking His face. In Acts 13:2-4 the disciples fasted and prayed. Then they were sent out for the ministry of miracles and wonders. Just as Jesus fasted and prayed for 40 days in the wilderness before establishing His church and ministry, so the Church must do the same.
Those that consecrate themselves with prayer and fasting are those that God sends out. Fasting and prayer will set you apart from everything ordinary. [tweet this] It will consecrate you from your peers. Sit in the presence of God to break the yoke off yourself, your family and church!
Read and study the word of God daily and fall in love with the Bible. The Bible is not a book, it is a Person – Jesus! Consecrate yourself to Jesus and He will use you in ways never seen before.
Touch the heart of Jesus, serve the King of Kings with all your heart and you will be set ablaze with the flame of the Spirit of God. When your spirit man catches the power of the Holy Spirit, every sickness in your body must bow down to the Name of Jesus!

Let this be your prayer today: Father, may we carry the same fire of the Holy Spirit that the New Testament Christians had within them. Revive our Church, and restore the Body of Christ to what You designed us to be! May our churches be a book of Acts church, in Jesus name, Amen!
