Chris Simpson, a former proponent of white supremacy movement, quit hatred as he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Saviour. Simpson was a member of Battalion 14, a white pride group with supporters in Michigan. His involvement in the white pride movement began in a place of pain, frustration, anger and confusion. Mother of ‘Canadian Psycho’ Victim Becomes Christian

The mother of a Chinese student murdered and dismembered in Canada announced that she has converted to Christianity and was recently baptized in the wake of the gruesome case. Du Zhigui, mother of a Chinese student Lin Jun, announced early this month that she has decided to accept Christ and get baptized after a Montreal’s church pastor Philip Cherng, approached her when she first came to Canada upon news of her son’s killing, adding “the voice of God comforted me.” Lin was brutally killed in late May by Luka Rocco Magnotta. Christians Should Not Be Afraid to Speak in Public About Faith: Tony Blair

Former Prime Minister of England, Tony Blair recently remarked that Christians should not be afraid to speak about their faith in public. Speaking at a debate in London with the Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, Blair spoke openly about his belief in “salvation through Jesus Christ” and even attempted to explain the resurrection. Using the word “we” when referring to Christians, he added: “It is important that we are prepared to speak up and speak out from the position of faith and say we are not afraid to say this is what we believe and why we believe it.” Read the whole story here.

Eighteen Confirmed Dead in Church Attacks in Kenya

About 18 people were reportedly killed and 66 injured in Kenya’s northeastern town of Garissa on Sunday, 1 July 2012, when assailants burst into the Africa Inland Church (AIC) and Catholic church, shooting at worshippers with firearms and detonating grenades.
