3,000-Year-Old Text Sheds Light on Biblical History
An archaeological discovery from Jerusalem that happened in 2012 may shed some light in the historical accuracy of the Holy Bible. A 3000-year-old text on an earthenware jug was recently dated all the way back to the time of King David. Although the jug was found in 2012, the research to date the seven letter inscription and the jug took some time and the studies are coming to light only recently. The jug shows that Hebrew existed as a written language in 1000 BC, which could have allowed Biblical recording of the Old Testament in real-time.
