Greetings Leaders,

I am writing to you from Haiti. The leaders here prepared for thousands to join us last Saturday for the National Day of Repentance.

I heard stories of all kinds of supernatural providence for this meeting which had some high expenses. During one of the conversations with the host of the meeting, I heard a beautiful statement that I want to share with you.

He said, “I am glad that we didn’t have all the money or we would have got callous with the Lord. Our needs made us live conscious and consecrated and that allowed God to show Himself strong.”

This got me thinking. Do we get so familiar with God that we lower our guards and take Him for granted?

May the Lord grant us the grace to live conscious and consecrated lives for His glory.

If that means to be needy to the point of full dependence to God then so be it.
