Exodus 3:8 And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.
Last year at this time, the world faced many kinds of trials. From economic upheavals to physical concerns, in every dimension, we had to navigate pressure, respond to fears and worries, uncover truth, discern deception, and understand the times.
Here is some startling news: 2022 was just practice. It was a year to build capacity, an opportunity to hone our spiritual weapons, cling to the Word and win!
In 2023, we are going to slay giants!
God is releasing the blessing of expansion in every area of our life in 2023! This year, we cross into the Promise Land. As we prepare, be excited for certain victory, for the Lord is on our side!
GIANTS SHALL FALL IN 2023.
Here are 5 Keys for 2023 to advantage expansion in every area of our life:
1. Don’t be lost in your past.
God has saved us from Egypt. Let us refuse to allow past mistakes to define us. We cannot allow our old man, our past ways to rise up. We must lay hold of our identity as redeemed children of God through Jesus Christ and refuse every lie that pulls us back to the ways of Egypt! Refuse to remind our loved ones of their past, when God has delivered them! When we know who we are not, we will be able to leave our past behind and move forward into 2023!
2. Don’t be stuck in your present.
In the wilderness, we have seen both natural and supernatural solutions. We have learnt to lean on God’s supernatural intervention, and how to use our own hands to work the natural solution. Yet, in 2023, regardless of our location, we are the solution! We are not stuck in our location. We are the light! When we know who we are and Whose we are, we will transform every aspect of our present, and win mighty victories for His Glory!
3. Don’t be detoured by faithless people.
Toxic, bitter, critical people cripple with words to shift our perspective away from our destiny. Be like the Joshuas and Calebs of this world and refuse to accept people who are jealous of our God-given destiny! Avoid those who limit the God in you! Before God can take us to a new location, we must go to that new location in our mind, and guard our perspective. In 2023, as we forget pleasing people, let our focus be on pleasing the LORD!
4. Don’t be seduced by the wrong voices.
In the wilderness, our desert, every location has a soul of itself, a spirit of itself. Our location can function as a person, with character and personality. Any location can speak. The desert can devour you, fatigue you, exhaust you until you hear voices, to seduce you to follow the commands of the desert. STOP! Listen to the greater Voice! Rise up and deliver your location in 2023! Cast that place free. Speak to your desert and say, “Desert you are beautiful! I call you the garden of the Lord!” We will be the deliverer of our location if we cling to the Word of our Lord!
5. Don’t be drowned by cravings.
We are not a result of our cravings. The giants in the Promise Land, they are studying our weaknesses. They are seeing what is our weakness, what our soul craves, whether food, entertainment, ambition, relationships, whatever. We must refuse every craving and starve our weaknesses. The enemy is trying to recycle our pain and extend our time in the wilderness. He extends our exile is by making us repeat the same mistakes of our parents. As we refuse the cravings, we will rise up and take the Promise Land in 2023!
This year, let us change our mindset!
When we arrive at the Promise Land, and sit in houses custom-made for giants, with windows larger than we have seen and doors larger than any doors we have ever seen, can we sit at the table as a king, or will we still see ourselves as a kid? Will we know Who has sent us or will we still be distracted by mind attacks, by insecurities, fears, unsure of who we are and Who are God is?
Be assured, for God is taking us beyond what we could even imagine in 2023!
In the mighty Name of Jesus, in 2023, boys will be men! Generals will be Kings! With maturity honed from the trials of 2022, we will expand in every area of our lives and enjoy the Promise Land!
Remember, this is our year of coming through! No longer shall we be stuck in transition. We are coming through! Don’t look to the left, nor to the right, for promotion does not come from the east, or the west, promotion comes from the Lord!
In 2023, we must choose not to worry about people or pressures around us. As children of the living God, we will refuse to be intimidated! At the sight of terror, whether it be giants or parasites, we must not be afraid, for the LORD is on our side!
The greater your challenge this year, the greater shall be the crown on your head!
