In The Power to Understand Mysteries, we discover how our God longs to unlock His mysteries for His children who are desperate and hungry, longing and seeking His Face. Like Jacob, who wrestled with the Angel of the Lord, may we not quit our pursuit until we are blessed by the Lord with understanding! Surely there is a place where, so frustrated by our current state, we cry out until our Father hears! In mercy, God will show us a path, a door that has already been opened for us.
Jesus, when asked why He spoke the Word in parables, answered, “To you has been given the secret of the kingdom of God, but for those outside everything is in parables, so that “they may indeed see but not perceive, and may indeed hear but not understand, lest they should turn and be forgiven.” (Mark 4:11-12).
This is God’s way. When the mysteries of God are hidden, pursuit becomes our posture, and mysteries long sought after, will become treasures of revelation for His children.
To access the mysteries of God, the grace of understanding mysteries must be given! Then, as you walk with God, even more is given!
In the Kingdom, proximity matters!
Though just a dozen were in the inner chambers with Jesus, twelve alone heard a different frequency. To them who journeyed day and night with their Master, understanding was given. They were trained by One who had greater access to the Father to unlock the mysteries of the Father.
If you pay close attention, the Lord will train you to hear the mysteries that are in His parables. When you start being sensitive to the Holy Spirit in the small things, faithful to follow the commands unlocked, more will be given to you!
Take Enoch, the Man who walked with God. Enoch did not see death. Genesis 5:24 states:
And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
Enoch had an advantage: He was trained by his forefathers, Adam included.
When you find a trainer, a spiritual father, you have the advantage of being trained.
Be governed by a greater Word!
As you humble yourself to know the God of your father, let consistency to hear and proximity at the Feet of the Lord unlock the mysteries of God.
May the Word given to you be your revelation, until it is inside your bones! Become one with the Word that is being taught and you will find yourself in the inner chambers before the Presence of the Lord.
You will seek the LORD your God and you will find him, if you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul. (Deuteronomy 4:29)
Pursue the Lord today. Finding Him is your greatest treasure. May those before you lead you to greater mysteries in God.
