Jesus is the Ultimate Template of Success.
Jesus, by His life, death and resurrection, has given us His Template. His Blueprint is our success.
Hebrews 12: 1-2 Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and the sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
Beloved, Jesus is the Founder of our faith. We are not functioning by ourselves; Someone has gone ahead of us. There is Somebody Who has paid a price, who has given us a blueprint that we may survive and thrive on earth. His Name is Jesus!
Furthermore, the Word testifies that we are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses, mighty men and women of God who have run this race before us.
Declare over your life: I am not alone. My situation is not unique. If they made it, I too, will make it!
Of the MOST importance, is that your eyes look unto JESUS. Though there are many greats before us and behind, none of them are worthy of your eyes. We put our eyes on Jesus, because He is the ultimate template of success.
How was Jesus so successful?
If you can understand the success of Jesus, you will discover your own success.
Jesus is the Finisher of our faith.
Every battle you are facing, God has already finished.
Just as on the Cross, Jesus said, “It is finished”, Jesus has done it all!
If a Child of God will follow the blueprint called Jesus, we will find perfection; we will encounter Jesus, the Perfector, the Finisher of our faith.
With Jesus, in every situation, we have the solution and the capacity to win. We just need to obey His Template!
The Template of Resurrection
There is a joy that Jesus found in enduring the Cross.
Endurance must be part of your template on earth, for Jesus’ capacity and ability to endure is His ultimate success.
In our generation, walking away can be the default when trouble arrives. It is easy to walk away. Just look at the divorce rates, even in Christian families. Surely something has fallen in our generation, for our capacity to endure trouble is much reduced.
Our ability to endure the troubles that the enemy throws at us, is what will make us in the image and likeness of Christ.
One of the greatest strengths of a believer is our capacity to endure, as we silence our “Why God?” before the certain Faithfulness and absolute Goodness of God our Father.
The Template of the Enemy
In these endtimes, you will also see another template, that of the antichrist. Though satan comes to kill, steal and destroy. (John 10:10), he is often subtle in his approach.
Consistently, the enemy will attack with only one goal in mind: He wants to make us doubt God, to make us look down on God, judge God when bad things happen. The accuser hopes that by making you suffer, you will accuse your God. He wants to make you bitter like him. He wants you to quit.
Clearly, impatience is the enemy’s template. When he demanded his wants in Heaven, he fell like lightning, and he wants you to do the same. Do not fall for the enemy’s failings.
When affliction comes, lock your gaze with the eyes of Jesus. Choose His template of endurance.
Jesus endured all for the joy set before Him.
At each and every point of His life, Jesus chose the will of the Father over His own, even unto death. “Not my will, but Your will be done!” He cried. (Luke 22:42)
When we can see Heaven’s perspective, we can roar over every problem! (Head to the Shyju Mathew Music and Let the Lion Roar!)
Beloved, you are not alone. Our Great Shepherd is watching over us this day. Put your hope in Jesus for He will never ever fail you! His template is our certain victory!
