Story after story in the Bible tell us of God’s powerful presence that ushered His people through battle into victorious breakthroughs. Moses stretched out his hand over the waters so that Israel can pass through the Red Sea on dry ground [Exodus 14: 21-22]. Enemies destroy themselves when God’s people put their trust in the LORD [2 Chronicles 20]. David prevailed over the philistines with a sling and a stone [1 Samuel 17:40-50].

“For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world–our faith.” [1 John 5:4].

If you don’t know what your God is capable of you’ll believe any lie the enemy throws at you [tweet this]

How Do We Know That We’re Born of God?

The scriptures clearly state that “Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the Father also loves the one born of Him.” [1 John 5:1]

And if you are born of God, then His desire for you is to experience overcoming victory. “But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”[1 Corinthians 15:57]

Jesus – Our Great Teacher

More than two thousand years ago Jesus victoriously walked on Earth from place to place, teaching people, performing signs and wonders, and raising the dead.

Jesus taught His apostles how to have VICTORY over sin and death, leading them by example: Jesus did and taught! Our precious Jesus did what He taught, He led by example.

Why was Jesus such a Great Teacher?

The reason is that Jesus himself had been taught by the Holy Spirit. Only the Holy Spirit can guide you in all Truth.

We need the Holy Spirit to come to Jesus! Those to whom Jesus is revealed by the Holy Spirit will have eternal life with the Father [John 5: 39-40]

The Power of the Holy Spirit

Jesus never did signs and wonders on His own while walking on Earth. Jesus always functioned by the Holy Spirit: He cast our demons by the Holy Spirit. Jesus healed the sick by the Holy Spirit. He rose again by the Holy Spirit on the third day after His crucifixion!

We, God’s children, are the temple of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit lives in us. We carry the Holy Spirit as we walk on Earth. He will teach us His ways, so that we may walk in His paths.

We can and shall perform miracles and wonders because of the Holy Spirit in us.

Only in partnership with the Holy Spirit can we be successful [tweet this].

The Power of Revelation of Jesus

The Holy Spirit speaks to us from God’s Word. Jesus and the Bible both are the Word of God. We have to approach the Bible as a life manual teaching us who God is and how to live our lives on Earth in victory. We have to know what our God is capable of so that the lies of the enemy in this generation are exposed.

The Lord reveals his glory to all who ask and seek for it diligently. Paul tells us that this revelation “…is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified” [Acts 20:32].

Believe and know that He is God!

What is Sanctification?

When Jesus came to the disciples they had to pay a price to see His glory by being sanctified. If you want to see His glory, you have to be sanctified. Sanctification means being set apart and made one with Jesus so that the Holy Spirit who controlled Him will control us.

How do we set ourselves apart for the Holy Spirit’s work in us?

You have to go UP to the mountain where “ … no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him” [1 Corinthians 2:9]. “People from many nations will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of Jacob’s God. There he will teach us his ways, and we will walk in his paths.” For the LORD’s teaching will go out from Zion; his word will go out from Jerusalem”. [Isaiah 2:3]

How to Go Up to the Mountain?

  • Prophetic Worship. Jesus sang hymns at the last supper [Matthew 26:30]. Paul in Ephesians 5:19 urges us to sing songs from God’s heart to us, led by the Spirit, to speak to each other in “psalms” and “hymns”. All worship services have to be prophetic. When the worship goes up, His glory comes down!
  • Stay Humble. Total submission will guarantee victory in Jesus! When the servants are humble and pursue God then God’s promises are fulfilled. We have to seek Jesus as a counselor. Prayers are not answered promptly when we’re to go through a fire and pay our price to see His glory. Don’t trust in your own strength. We trust in the name of Jesus!
  • Let Go and Let God. To grow as a Christian you’ve got to be in the race, have the proper attitude, and give it the proper effort. [Phil 3:12-13] Seek God in prayers. The apostles had an hour of prayer at the temple daily [Acts 3:1-4:31]. Learn how to move the Holy Spirit, instead of mourning. Forget the past and do not be concerned of tomorrow [Matthew 6:31]. Hold on the promises of God, don’t turn back!

God calls us by name to a mission. He wants us to go to the nations and perform signs, miracles and wonders in the name of Jesus so that all glory goes to God and nations can be saved.

You’ll hear His voice in the valley, but you’ll only see His glory on the mountain top [tweet this]

It’s your turn to go up the mountain!

Let this be your prayer today: Dear Holy Spirit, reveal yourself to me. Help me to honor you. Do signs and wonders through me in the mighty name of Jesus!
