Paid to handle pressure

Leadership is often coveted because leadership is influence, and influence is able to serve a greater number of people.

Yet..as you gain influence, as you go up, the climb gets steep. The steeper the climb, the greater the energy required and more the exhaustion. The moment you quit is the moment you stop climbing any further.

Here are a few questions to ask yourself when striving for a leadership role:

How much pressure can I joyfully handle before I break?

How many divisions can I go through before I stop being a peace maker?

How many temptations can I face before I give in?

How insulted can I get before I lose it?

In the world, managers are paid more not necessarily because they are better skilled, or more intelligent but because they are able to handle pressure from multiple sources. Think about it, they are not only managing themselves and their expectations but those of many others simultaneously!

How far can you stretch before you break? Ask the Lord to increase your capacity today.
