Give thanks to the Father, Who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son. Col. 1:13
Dark thoughts are a problem for most people.
You are driving down the highway humming a song, when suddenly, you start thinking all kinds of discouraging thoughts, and soon after, your heart is heavy. This is the work of the enemy. Good news! You can defeat these dark thoughts if you know who you are and where you are positioned.
As a child of God, do you truly know which Kingdom you are from? Our passport is Heaven! We are the Father’s beloved ones! So in this kingdom, what currency are you using? Just as Mexico trades in pesos and China uses yuan, the kingdom of darkness uses FEAR and the Kingdom of Heaven requires FAITH. As Abraham believed God and it was credited as righteousness (Rom. 4:22), so God moves when His children believe His Word.
Our trajectory of growth all depends on what we are thinking about.
In other words, the stature of our spirit man is the sum total of our meditations. What you meditate on reveals the state of your heart, and what you really believe. So, what are your thoughts focused on? What is your heart yearning for? Like a medic doing triage assessment of a patient awaiting care, believers need to investigate the condition of their spirit before the Lord. Ask yourself:
Is joy your portion? Are you walking in peace? Is His Presence with you?
Or are you weighed down with the anxieties of this world? Are you undone by fears? Are your thoughts consumed with worry, discouragement or fear?
Jesus urged, “But watch yourselves lest your hearts be weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and cares of this life, and that day come upon you suddenly like a trap. (Luke 21:34).
Be certain. The Lord’s return is near. Yet as the Kingdom of Heaven is forcefully advancing, so too, is the kingdom of darkness advancing, and one of satan’s most effective tools is fear. If he can get you thinking negative, living fearful, he can keep you from your God given victory.
These days on the earth, fear is the most common story.
From health concerns to political challenges, the enemy has been strategically destabilizing society, and his endgame is to keep everyone out of faith and focused on fear.
Anxiety is another form of the spirit of death! Focused negativity and fear can reduce your life span! Yet before anxiety can kill you & yours, it needs your spirit to come in agreement with its plans through long term meditation over the frail possibilities.
The fly paper that traps many believers is worry. Yet the Lord instructs us not to worry, stating, “Take heart! I have overcome the world!” (John 16:33)
What you meditate upon is what you behold, and what you behold, you become.
When the Lord instructed Joshua to advance into Canaan to take the promise land, the priority for Joshua was to focus on the Word:
This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. (Joshua 1:8)
Joshua was facing certain battles and to remain steady and courageous, to victoriously advance the kingdom, his focus on the Word day and night was his secret weapon! (Hear more from our 2022 Crossover Night Service.)
What you meditate on is Who you abide with.
If your heart is mediating on global issues, the loss of job, the fight with your children or your bank account, the enemy can use your fears as the currency of faith in the his kingdom of darkness to execute your failures.
If your heart is meditating on the Lord, the Goodness of God, His power and might, His deep love for His Children, your identity in Christ or the testimonies He has done in your life, you will overcome any battle, win any war the enemy tries, because your spirit, so full of truth and the fire of the Holy Spirit, will be fuelled by the Lord!
Choose your kingdom and guard your thoughts.
A believer is not a victim of his thoughts. A believer can have the mind of Christ. Like Paul exhorts in 2 Cor 10:5, “Destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ!”
So laugh and tear out any fear in your heart and mind.

Change your mind and enter a new stature and new health in your life!
The Lord says to the Church in Revelations 2:26: And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations.
In 2022, you cannot fail.
You will rise above every storms. Stay courageous! Do not fear ! Keep your mind on the Lord who loves you and He will lead you step by step into certain victory!
