The Character of a King vs. your God

"Experience the Word of God, in the power of the Spirit."

In 2023, Revive Nations launched Revival Train Conferences in many nations, with Holy Spirit-led meetings in India, Dubai, United States and Australia. In Visag, many who attended the Revival Train conference, were encouraged by this powerful Word, The Character of a King versus your God.

Wise Kings Seek Him Out
Mathew 2:1-2 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of
Herod the king, behold,  there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,
saying, ‘”Where is he that is born King of the Jews? For we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him”.

Wise men from East journeyed to find King Jesus.

There is a quality that make you a king. Surely, there is the character of God and the character of kings. God functions in everything with an expectation, that we who seek Him, do so as kings.

Proverbs 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: But the honour of kings is to search out a matter.

Friend, it is the glory of God to hide things. It is the honour of king to search it out!

What is the character of your God? God likes to hide things.

God understands that everything hidden has greater value. Anything that is hidden is rare and the value is higher.

For example, have you ever wondered why diamonds are so expensive? It is difficult to get a diamond. You don’t find them on the side of the road. If you want to find a diamond you are going to have dig deep.   Any time something is hidden, there is more value to it.

This is the same reason why, when Enoch hid himself in God, God really liked him! Everyone else was busy in the world but Enoch hid himself in God.  Enoch knew when you hide yourself in God, your value goes up!

God Hides things to be Found

God does not hide things so you can suffer. The Lord hides blessings to see who truly deserves it, for truly, not everyone gets His blessing. Jesus, knowing this truth,  urged us to seek God, “Seek. Ask. Knock.” (Matthew 7:7-8)

You have to understand your God. Our God hides and waits for kings to discover Him.

God prefers to hide your blessings so that when you search it, now you become qualified to receive that blessing. In your searching, you become a king.

We are made in His Image and Likeness

It is the Lord’s delight to make us like Himself.  Genesis 1:26 says, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness.”

Do we approach our God in faith, believing His Word, that we are made in the image and likeness of God or do we approach Him as doubting beggars?

When the disciples were freaking out in the storm and woke up Jesus, crying, “Save us!”, Jesus did not wipe away their tears: He rebuked them for their little faith! (Mathew 8:28).

God is not moved by our tears. He is moved by our faith!

Why are you sitting, begging and crying for God to help, when God made you in His royal image, and you are created to seek Him out?

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you! James 4:8

God wants us to seek Him as a king.

As a king, we can embrace the joy and honour to search out our great God, to search out solutions.

Only the ones who took the time to search Jesus found Him.

It is not enough to know the Jesus whom your mother or your pastor taught. God desires you to function like a king, and seek Him out!  Like the 3 kings who searched for Christ, 3 royal seekers among millions who lived when Jesus was born, are you willing to do whatever it takes to seek your God or will you, like sleeping Bethlehem, miss the miracle of His visitation?

God wants to anoint this generation, if only they will draw near to Him!

When a teaching like this arrives, there is a grace to arise and become whom God has made us to be, so do not wait!  While there is still grace, search out your God as the king He has designed you to be!

Shalom,

Shyju
