Which is more important?
Destiny is the dream, the journey is the process that creates the destiny.
However, journey is not easy. It is breaking the evil inside of you. Exposing your weakness. Shaking off what is not required. Testing of faith. Trials that question your trust in God.
Although that sounds discouraging, it is those building blocks of life that makes the journey different from a walk in the park.
My mentor who was leaving our home after visiting our one month old baby daughter, looked at us and said, ”Just remember. Smile through the process.”
Can’t begin to tell you how much that has helped. That was a revelation. It’s a process! “The destiny is in the journey itself!”
Tim Cook who took over Apple as the CEO once said, “We’re not guaranteed a tomorrow so give it everything you’ve got.”
When we are waiting for that awesome wonderful tomorrow, we tend to forget that it’s already in the making today.
