It gives me great joy to bring to you my very first Single music release!
For many years, I have felt songs come to me randomly which, I believe, were inspired by the Spirit. But most times, soon after they are hurriedly saved in my phone’s recorder, they become only faintly recollections.
The Recording
Last year in 2012, while I was ministering in Dubai, I met the wonderful musician Lawrence Guna, whom I got to meet again recently, as he was also from Bangalore, India. He had heard me lead worship just before the sermon, and he mentioned how he was blessed.
With Lawrence Guna at the music video shoot, yet to be released.
Though I was not too keen on doing a worship conference, I suggested he take a look at the songs tucked away in my phone.
On hearing one of those, he asked me to send it to him so he could try adding some instruments to it and see what would come out of it.
To my surprise, in a week’s time, we were headed to a nearby studio to record the same!
Background to the Song
This particular song came to me after a long break. I was driving back home late one night, when I told God how very long it had been since I had gotten any new tunes. Right at that moment, I felt a tune bubbling in my spirit and I began to sing, “I am never alone and I can never be alone.”
When the Bible tells us in Hebrews 13:5 that, “I will never leave you, nor forsake you,” the word “never” in this passage is from “ou me” in Greek, what is known as an emphatic negative. In other words, “never” means NEVER!
The love Jesus has for you is an infinite loop of love that is never ending! [ClickToTweet] That is why you can never ever be alone, whether you deserve it or not!
There is nothing you did for Jesus to make him start loving you and there is nothing that you can do that can stop Jesus from loving you! Every single time we go to God, we go knowing we still lack something, if not for His grace that perfects us by faith to go boldly to the Father in confidence!
