Stopping the Proud Waves in Your Life: The Church is Not Weak

"Experience the Word of God, in the power of the Spirit."

Friend, it it time to arise as you encounter this powerful Word, Stopping the Proud Waves of your Life, on our Revive Nations Youtube channel.

The Church is not weak!

When Peter was thrown in jail, following James’ beheading, the Church refused Peter to be killed. Acts 12:5 says Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.

The Church would not relent storming Heaven; they prayed day and night. They knew the Lord Jesus had prophesied over this Peter, “Upon this rock, I will build my Church”. (Matthew 16:18)  Armed with this prophecy, they contended. They would not allow the enemy to have his way. Finally the Angel came and loosed Peter from prison, and Peter arrived at their door to continue the prayer meeting they had started for his sake!

Jesus didn’t die to raise a weak Church
Don’t think for a moment that Jesus in the garden was taken by surprise.
In order to arrest Jesus, the soldiers needed his permission.

When they came to the garden, the soldiers said “we’re looking for Jesus !” Jesus turned to them and said “It is I.”  The Bible says the soldiers were thrown away. (John 18:4-6)

There they were,  searching for Jesus but lacking revelation of Jesus.  They did not have the capacity to see Him until He revealed Himself to them.
When the revelation hit them, they could not stand before Him!
The enemy cannot stand before you without your permission!
In the Book of Job, it says, “Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed?” (38:11)

Our God has established clear boundaries, to the waves, the stars, even the sun rises at His command. (Exodus 15:4)

Child of God, do you know who you are in Christ?
The Church is a Kingdom of power.
Don’t be deceived. Jesus was not killed by crucifixion. Even the nails need His permission, for surely the metal He created should have melted like wax before the Presence of the Lord! (Psalm 97:5).

Just as the Lord gave permission to the nails to penetrate his Hands, iron that the Lord Himself created, (Hebrews 1:3), so too, any horses and chariots that are pursuing you right now, need permission to pursue you!

Thus far you shall come and no further, the Lord declares.  If you can understand, God is speaking this over your life!  The enemy may reach the Red Sea where you stand, but the door that the Lord opens is only for you! This door of deliverance will be your enemy’s door of burial! (Exodus 15:4)
The Church is Christ’s.
Jesus needed to commit His spirit to the Father to die. He cried, “Father I commit my spirit into your Hands.” (Psalm 31:5, Luke 23:46) and breathed his last.  Church, you are the Body of Christ.

You can’t die when the doctor says, or even when your enemies are pursuing after you,  You will die when you decide to die.  So tell the devil, “Not on my watch, unless I say”!

There can be a glorification of suffering where we lay ourselves down, even allow people to step over us.  Yet while some people may believe, Christians are weak, called to turn the other cheek, there is a place where we can say, “Slap me, no issue, but there is a line I am drawing, like the Lord has drawn to the waves on the sand. Don’t forget the Lamb of God is also the Lion of Judah!”
Church, it is time to laugh
He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. (Psalm 2:4)

Child of God, you are not finished. Davids always rise.

When you kill a giant, his sword becomes your sword. Just as they took the sword of Goliath and gave it to David, whatever tried to kill you, you are taking its place.

You need to be very happy if a principality is fighting you.  Soon you will become the principality, so thank the Lord for the principality that is fighting you, for when you take down a giant, you have earned the giants reward.

By the end of this fight, there can be only one standing!
You will be the one found standing!

Shalom,
