Readers, draw close. In heaven, there are principles, dimensions and doors open only by keys given. Could it be that today, you will open the door of His mighty Presence, with close proximity with the God of Fire in your life? Do you know which traps to avoid losing His Presence?
Our God of Fire
Across the globe, people claim their belief in Jesus, their knowledge of God, yet how many people really know Him? Do you know Jesus like you know your spouse or your child, your boss or your best friend? Do you know the God of Fire?
In Deuteronomy 4:33, Moses asks: “Did any people ever hear the voice of God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as you have heard, and live? Or did God ever try to go and take for Himself a nation from the midst of another nation, by trials, by signs, by wonders, by war, by a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, and by great terrors, according to all that the Lord your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes? To you it was shown, that you might know that the Lord Himself is God; there is none other besides Him.”
Moses cried to his people, “Have any of your idols, these gods, these nations, ever heard of a God who spoke from the midst of fire?” That’s the God we serve!
Regardless of what we have seen or not seen, this is our God. Our God speaks from the midst of the fire.
Our God speaks from the midst of Fire
God first spoke to Moses from out of fire. Then Israel, free by the Almighty Hand of God from Egypt’s oppressions, gathered to worship at the mountain God led them to. Before their eyes, the God of Israel came down in a thick cloud and spoke to them from within the fire on his holy mountain (Exodus 19:21).
Hebrews 12: 18-21 For you have not come to what may be touched, a blazing fire and darkness and gloom and a tempest and the sound of a trumpet and a voice whose words made the hearers beg that no further messages be spoken to them.

There is proximity to God by space, by time and by relationship.
By space, Adam and Eve had close proximity through their location with the Lord. They lived in the Garden of Eden and walked daily with God!
Secondly, by time, Adam and Eve lived closest to God as well, as firstborn humanity of creation. Think about little children, how close they are to the Lord, for they have just come from Heaven and still remember Him before the world affects their hearts or steal their innocence.
Finally, by relationship, John the Beloved had close proximity to the Lord. For John experienced three kinds of Jesus. The first Jesus whom John experienced was the One whom he leaned upon his shoulder (John 13:23). This was the Man Jesus, the Lord who lay aside His glory. (Philippians 2:6-8). The second dimension John experienced was the resurrected Jesus, who walked through walls and announced Himself to his disciples, declaring, “Peace be with you!” (John 20:19-20). The third dimension of Jesus that John experienced caused John to fall like dead, (Revelations 1:12-17) as the Christ of Fire encountered John on Patmos.

Principle Keys to be Aware about Spiritual Proximity
The Proximity of God does not mean the serpent has no access.
Though Adam and Eve had proximity with God by space and time, they chose to listen to the voice of the serpent (Genesis 3) Our experience, our church theologies, our friends, none of these opinions matter. What matters is what our God says from within the Fire. Do not listen to voices who have little proximity to the God of Fire.
Be aware: Satan’s voice brings sin, loss and compromise. The enemy’s only plan is to keep you far from the God of Fire. May revival come to you, that you will experience the Voice of God from within the Fire, so that no other voice will be considered!
The Presence of God does not mean the absence of idols.
Moses went up the mountain to encounter God who speaks from within the Fire, as terrified, the people had earlier begged Moses to encounter Him alone. When they saw the mountain shake and heard His Voice, they asked for a mediator! Below the mountain, without purpose or direction, the people solicited Aaron to make idols at their demand. (Exodus 32:1) Distance had created access for the serpent. When the rabble, strangers, adulterated ones who had come into the camp, picked up a scent, a lust from the territorial demons, now the people took ownership of cravings that were not even theirs and then, sin conquered! (Numbers 11:4)
Be aware: Silence the voices of your location. Worship the Lord alone!
The Nearness of God does not mean the enemy is not also near.
In the spirit realm, the presence of the tempter does not mean you are doing something wrong. Remember, the devil had a full conversation with Jesus, the perfect Man, the Son of God. (Mathew 4:8)
Be aware: When satan speaks to you, it will sound like your own voice. He is trying to convince you that his thoughts, his emotions are yours! He wants to deceive you, to make you think that demonic ideas he whispers sound like natural you. Separate these thoughts, these sins, these mind attacks and identify that this garbage is not from you! Know who you are! Flush out fear and choose faith in the God of Fire!
