This entry is part 6 of 9 in the series Psalm 106

Welcome GTH Family! Today is Day 6 of our Devotional series on Psalm 106 from Prophet Shyju Mathew’s Bible Study with Emmanuel Church in Montreal. Yesterday (Day 5), we learnt how to fear God more than our desires. Today, Prophet Shyju teaches how to find your Moses, the deliverer sent to your situation.Don’t forget to share with your neighbour. Have a blessed day!

Day 6: RECOGNIZE YOUR MOSES

Psalm 106: 23 – 24 So He declared He would destroy them. But Moses, his chosen one, stepped between the LORD and the people. He begged him to turn from his anger and not destroy them. The people refused to enter the pleasant land, for they wouldn’t believe his promise to care for them.

Every season, God brings someone into your life that God has anointed to stand in the gap for you. Just as God places watchmen over the walls in a church to pray, so God finds people whom He places in our life to will bring instruction and guidance.

See Job 33:23-24: If there be for him an angel, a mediator, one of the thousand, to declare to man what is right for him, and he is merciful to him, and says, ‘Deliver him from going down into the pit; I have found a ransom;”

There is one in a thousand people who will come into your life and pull you out of the pit. If you can find the one whom God has sent, one instructor who can tell you where your problems are, you will have found a key to your life!

Correction is a gift from God and a sign that you are protected. Parents love their kids too much not to correct them, and since you are loved, you cannot escape correction. God chastises those whom He loves (Heb. 12:6).

Can you identify and honour the Moses in your life in both good and challenging times? Do not forget the good they have brought you through!

Pray: Lord, give me the grace, that I do not fight the words that are supposed to correct me. Give me the grace to love and honour the ones who are sent by God’s mercy to correct me.

We hope this video was a blessing to you! Tomorrow, we reflect on trusting our God! May His joy be His strength!
