Day 2: WAIT ON GOD

Psalm 106:13 Yet how quickly they forgot what he had done! They wouldn’t wait for his counsel!

Sin lies when you become impatient with God. Sin is the result of impatience with God. We have a God who rewards us for our thoughts. Proverbs 23:7 says As a man thinks, so he is.

The Hebrews were in a rush to get to a place. They did not wait for His plans to fully develop. They were frustrated. They did not work on their immaturity. They did not understand character. Instead of becoming submitted to God, they judged and complained.

Impatience can lead you to sin. Impatience will lead you to be overtaken by temporary desires.

Just wait. Wait past your flesh’s impulse, your emotions demands, your confusion. Wait on God and everything will change in your life!

Pray: Lord Jesus, may I wait at Your feet until I remember Your counsel. Help me Holy Spirit, to walk according to Your voice, and to deny every other voice that brings confusion in my life!
