When a season is rough, with the Covid19 crisis, economic decline, and most of the world in isolation, isn’t it a great relief to know the Lord is a God of War?
Beloved, God wants to train your hands for war!
Apostle Paul told the church of Ephesians :
Finally be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. (6:10)
Be strong in the Lord, dear Church. Learn the art of discovering the might and strength of the Lord and receive strength in the Lord.
Just as King David strengthened himself in the Lord, find strength in God’s Might.
Apostle Paul instructed believers:
Put on the whole armour of God that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. (Eph. 6:11)
Understand the schemes of the enemy, friend. There are many cunning schemes by darkness.
If you are desperate for help, first, investigate the problem.
If you are doing right, you should see results.
If you see derailment, it means your identity still needs work. Your mind is not renewed. You are enslaved to your perceptions.
Dear saint, as you watch out for the schemes of the enemy, remember, his plan is always to take you away from your assignment.
The Lord has destroyed the power of the enemy, but his fiery darts will still burn you. Those darts come as toxic words. The enemy uses words against a believer, thought not only what is spoken, but most often, what is thought.
He prowls around, looking for an open window. Often we open that window through our beliefs of his lies. Our thoughts defeat us.
Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death. (James 1:15)
The greatest scheme of the enemy is deception; to make you have thoughts which question what God said. The war which began in Eden, always starts with negative doubting thoughts!
A thought will grow and eat the blessings of your life.
Job, most blessed of all men in the East, confessed, “what I have feared the most has come unto me” (3:25). His attack began with a thought!
Poverty is a mindset, a series of thoughts which focus on lack and limitation.
A mindset will block the blessings God wants to release to you, as you have listened too long to the lies, and given satan too much power.
“As a man thinketh, so he is” (Prov. 23:7).
Beloved, Satan is under your feet!
Can you spot the fear, the worries, the angry thoughts and identify his schemes?
Uproot those thoughts that opens doors for the enemy! Identify his schemes!
There are flames the enemy will use to burn your blessings. Don’t allow them! These arrows are designed by hell to disconnect you from the goodness of God and detour your destiny! Put up your shield of faith and guard your thoughts!
You can be victorious if you can think like Christ.
Carry this grace which you have been given by faith in God and start winning the war!
Remember, the devil is a liar. He sows weed seeds of fear, doubt, worry & complaint to get us to open the door.
Anytime this deceiver brings a lie to you, tackle the lie with the Word of God!
Tackle the lying thoughts with the thoughts of Christ!
Every battle you face is a battle of your mind so maintain the mind of Christ.
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” (Romans 12:2)
May you remind your spouse of the heart of God. May you remind your children of the goodness of our God! Saint, do not speak the accuser’s thoughts. Do not give him power! He is under your feet! The one you think is too much is UNDER YOUR FEET!
“And on that very day the Lord brought the people of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their hosts.” (Exodus 12:51)
The Israelites did not leave Egypt pathetic. It was an army that stormed out to freedom, not victimized slaves!
Change your mindset
Whose report are you believing? The report of your anxious imagination or the report of a believer who trusts their God?
In 2020, we must know the schemes of the enemy and win!
“When Pharaoh let the people go, God did not lead them by way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near. For God said, “Lest the people change their minds when they see war and return to Egypt.” (Exodus 13:17)
God knew the ex-slaves would return to bondage if they saw war.
In the desert, the Israelites proved their slavery mindset. Every time they grumbled and complained, their destiny became further and further. It eventually led to their death, when the entire journey was to be about their new life in the Promise Land!
As believer, we must face every attack and learn to war to be effective.
You are a soldier of Christ. The Kingdom of God suffers violence and the violent will overcome! (Math. 11:12)
Accusation, slander, gossip, these things will make you discouraged and cause you to back off the battle.
Don’t do it. Lift up your eyes to God!
The Lord is a man of war; the Lord is his name. (Exodus 15:3)
Beloved, pray and declare: There is nothing I will face this year that the grace of God will not solve! May your imagination be surrendered to the Holy Spirit! May your mind be renewed in Christ and may you have victory to the Glory of God!
