Welcome, Readers, to an exciting series for the Body of Christ! As we cling to our Word of the Lord in 2021, “ROOTED” let’s consider this powerful series on the investigating the soul. Get ready for your life to change!
Have you ever wondered, dear friend, why the Lord is called the Lover of your Soul?
Why is the soul so important, that the Lord Himself loves us here?
When we were conceived, our body was formed in our mother’s womb. In that conception, our soul was created by the Lord, a clean slate of ready to be written. Most of us understand how the human body grows, develops and ages. In fact, we mark growth in babies by months, children by years, and adults by decades. Yet how does the soul develop? How do we mark its growth in the kingdom of God?
Friend, our soul is informed by our five senses, which acts as an information highway; what we see, the words and sounds we hear, the things we taste and touch and smell, these inputs are constantly flooding our soul with information. For a believer to have dominion on earth, one must identify the lies, discern sensory information and maintain health in the soul, that our spirit may be empowered to lead.
Spoiler Alert: When our soul is not aligned, is under-developed, wounded and immature, it will interrupt a believer’s destiny; negative emotions, temptations, thoughts and actions, primarily led by the soul, can abort our destiny.
Beloved, our spirit is designed to connect with the Spirit of God to lead our life, but first,
We must make sure our soul is at rest before the Lord!
We can’t let bitterness, hurts, fears and doubts distort the Voice of God in our life! May the Lord bring balance to our life and heal our soul, that our spirit will be freed to lead as led by the Holy Spirit!
To hear more of this exciting Word, watch Day 29 of the 31 Days of Sowing as Prophet Shyju Mathew, Founder of Revive Nations ministry, exhorts the Body of Christ to pay close attention to your soul. As we apply these truths, may we soar as wholesome believers for this end time season!
