This entry is part 4 of 7 in the series Equilibrium

Dear Readers, are you enjoying this exciting series on Equilibrium?

Last post, we read about sensory overload, and how when our senses become overloaded, the soul starts ferociously leading. The problem with that, dear Saint, is, God communicates with your spirit, NOT your soul. If you let your soul lead, you are most likely going to end up at a dead end!

Think about Jesus in the wilderness, teaching his disciples, when suddenly, He is interrupted with an urgent plea: “Master, the one You love is sick!” Now in society, both then and now, sickness clamours to be heard as loud as a roaring ambulance. A message like that shrieks “URGENT”!

Yet, did our Lord stop everything and run to Bethany? If you look at John 11, you will see how, in peace, Jesus noted, “This illness does not lead to death. It is for the glory of God, so that the Son of God may be glorified through it” (John11:4). and He stayed two days longer in the place where He was.

Did that illness lead to death? In the natural, yes. Lazarus died. Temporarily! Jesus journeyed to Bethany and Lazarus was remarkably raised from the dead, four days after his last breath. He lived!

You see, Our Lord refused to operate in the soul realm.

No amount of outside information would move what He knew on the inside, what His Father was speaking. Jesus operated on Earth as Spirit, lived led and consumed by the Spirit, and invites us to do the same.

Dear friend, life around us feeds our soul with messages, urgent clamouring information, every moment we are awake. If panic is to lead us, just turn on the news, and your soul will be well fed. In fact, the more our senses gather information (what we hear, what we see, what we touch), the bigger and stronger your soul will lead to respond.

This is how the world leads, but we, Beloved of Christ, we are called to a greater reality.

Let your spirit lead you. Feed your spirit with time in prayer and learn the heart of God. Worship and let your heart ascend in hope in the Living God who loves you. Meditate on the Word and let your internal landscape get more defined with each moment. Then, watch as wisdom flows and peace commands, as your spirit refutes all the sensory information and navigates by understanding through the Holy Spirit.

To learn more, hear Prophet Shyju who taught with great anointing on this subject, during this glorious time of prayer last October, Day 8.
